Description
You can take This medicine(A2 5mg/10mg Tablet) at any time of day, with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day. Keep consuming it for as long as explained by your physician. Even if you feel well, dont stop this drug on your own because high blood pressure often has no symptoms. If you stop consuming it, your condition may get worse. Keeping active with routine exercise, reducing your weight and eating a healthy diet will also help control your blood pressure. Follow your physician’s advice while taking this drug.
It may cause adverse effects like headache, nausea, pain abdomen, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), ankle swelling, and increased hepato billiary enzyme. Let your physician know if you experience yellowing of skin or eyes, unusually dark urine or pain abdomens as it may be sign of hepato billiary damage. It may also cause dizziness, so dont drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this drug affects you. You may be asked for routine monitoring of blood pressure, renal function, random blood sugar level, and electrolytes level while on the treatment.
Before consuming it, let your physician know if you have any hepato billiary or renal problems. Pregnant or lactating women should also consult their physician for advice before taking this drug. You also need to tell your physician what other drugs you are taking especially those used in treatment of high blood pressure or heart conditions.
