It may cause adverse effects like headache, ankle swelling, slow heart rate, and nausea. It may also cause dizziness, so dont drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this drug affects you. This might raise the level of potassium in the blood, hence abstain from potassium rich food or supplements. You may be asked for routine monitoring of blood pressure, renal function, and electrolytes level while on the treatment.
