This medicine(Bolstran 150mg Injection) is given as an injection under the guidance of a physician. The first three dosage of drug is given by the physician. Your physician will explain to you the best way to inject the drug so that you can inject your drug at home. Your physician will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this drug for as long as it is advised for you even if you feel better.
The most common adverse effects of this drug include joint pain, pain (general), tiredness, dizziness, fracture, pruritis, dermatitis, upper abdominal pain, nasopharyngitis, headache, and ear pain. If these bother you or appear serious, let your physician know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. Remember, it does not prevent you from a sudden attack, hence always carry your emergency inhaler with you.
Before taking this drug if you have hepato billiary or renal disease, or if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy. Your physician should also know about all other drugs you are taking as many of these may make this drug less effective or change the way it works. In general, alcohol is not advised while on treatment with this drug.
