This medicine(Dracold Syrup) is administered with or without food in a dosage and duration as explained by the physician. The dosage you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the drug. You should continue this drug for as long as your physician recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may reappear and your condition may worsen. Let your physician know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be impacted by this drug.
The most common adverse effects are nausea, vomiting, and headache. Most of these are short term and usually resolve with time. Contact your physician straight away if you are at all worried about any of these adverse effects. This drug can also cause increased sleep, so dont drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this drug affects you. Abstain from drinking alcohol while taking this drug as it can worsen your increased sleep.
Never support self-medication or recommend your drug to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before taking this drug, you should inform your physician if you have any renal or hepato billiary diseases so that your physician can prescribe a suitable dosage for you. You should also tell your physician if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or lactating.
