Ecydin Syrup

This medicine(Ecydin Syrup) belongs to a group of drugs called antihistamines. It is used in the treatment of various allergic conditions. It relieves symptoms of inflammation as well as pruritis, swelling and rashes. It is also used in treatment of loss of appetite (need for food). It is an effective hunger stimulant.

This medicine(Ecydin Syrup) can be administered with or without food and it is better to take it in a dosage and duration as explained by the physician. You may need this drug only on days you have symptoms, or you may need to take it every day to prevent symptoms from happening. If you stop consuming it earlier than explained, your symptoms may reappear. This drug is generally very safe.This drug may cause some amount of dizziness, so dont drive or do anything that needs attention. Consult your physician if it persists or worries you. It may cause a headache in some cases. Before consuming it, you should inform your physician if you have any problems with your hepato billiary or renals or with your heart. Abstain from drinking alcohol as it can cause excessive drowsiness with this drug.
