Feroject 50mg Injection

This medicine(Feroject 50mg Injection) is given by slow infusion (drip) into a vein by your physician or nursing staff. Your physician will decide the dosage you need and how many injections you should have to improve your anemia. It will also help to eat a well-balanced diet that has enough iron. Good sources of iron include pulses (dal), green leafy vegetables like spinach, beans, eggs, dry fruits, and non-vegetarian foods.

The most common adverse effects include altered taste, hypertension (high blood pressure), nausea, and injection site reactions (such as pain, redness, and swelling). Some people may develop a short term fall in blood pressure (hypotension) if this drug is given too rapidly. Your physician will also monitor you for signs of an allergic reaction such as breathlessness, dizziness, feeling uneasy, hives, swelling of face, tongue, and throat, etc. while this drug is being given. If you are bothered by them or they go on for longer, talk to your physician or nursing staff.

You should not have this drug if your anemia is not caused by a lack of iron. Before consuming it, tell your physician if you have rheumatoid arthritis, asthma or other allergies, high blood pressure, or hepato billiary problems. This may affect your treatment. It is not known whether this drug is safe for use if you are pregnant or lactating so please take advice from your physician. You will have tests to check your blood cells and iron levels, monitor your progress and check for adverse effects. It may be advisable to limit alcohol during treatment.
