Mexiphen -MD Tablet

This medicine(Mexiphen -MD Tablet) should be administered with or without food, but take it at the same time every day to get the most benefit. The dosage and how often you take it depends on what you are consuming it for. Your physician will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms.  You should take this drug for as long as it is advised for you. If you miss a dosage, take it as soon as you keep in mind it. Although, you should never take a double dosage. Inform your physician if your symptoms dont improve within 7 days of treatment.

The most common adverse effects of this drug include dry mouth, blur vision, headache, and feeling dizzy. If these bother you or appear serious, let your physician know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. It makes skin more sensitive towards sunlight. Use sunscreen or wear protective clothing before going out.

Before taking this drug, let your physician know if you have glaucoma or have asthma issues, or have high blood pressure. Inform your physician if you are pregnant, or lactating. Your physician should also know about all other drugs you are taking as many of these may make this drug less effective or change the way it works. Generally, it is explained to abstain from alcohol while on treatment.
