This medicine(Prolustar Depo 500mg Injection) is administered only by or under the guidance of a physician. It should be administered as your physician advice. The most common adverse effects of this drug include local site reactions at the injection site, nausea, pruritis, loose motions, and hives. If any of these bothers you, let your physician know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. It may affect random blood sugar levels, so monitor your random blood sugar routinely. It is better to inform the physician if you notice yellowing of eyes or skin, dark urine, or pain abdomen while using this drug.

Before taking this drug inform physician, if you have ever had any problems with your blood circulation or have diabetes, or any hepato billiary disease. Your physician should also know about all other drugs you are taking as many of these may make this drug less effective or change the way it works.
